And, hit and resist have nothing in common. Like stuns are less likely to hit an orc because of their racial, and they resist it. Even just a small base amount is taken into effect by TBC RNG standards. RNG, being the Random Number Generator meaning they can resist just about anything even if they have 1% resistance.

OK read the OP now before you reply here!

and for the 3rd time or so the Druid has no resistance at all.... NELF Druid means he uses his MotW or GotW buff that gives him like 33 resistance. BUT I have 34 spell penetration!! Meaning he has 0 resistance because spell penetration lowers your opponents resistance!!

So can you now explain me HOW he could resist it?

HE hasn't got any resistance and I'm still have 5 points in Shadow focus: Reduces your target's chance to resist your shadow spells by 10%

So.... what RNG where you talking about ?

Of course he can resist it with zero resistance. I don't see a problem there.

Even when I'm fully PvP Hit capped? (<-- What is a point of a Hitcap then if he still resist my spells ;s)
And have 5 points in Shadow Focus?

Because then our setup can't beat Druid / Warr if the druid resists my fear :S it's a lose!!

Hitrate does nothing with resistances.

Hm , not sure but i think being capped doesn't ensure a 100% of landing the spell or skill.
Being hitcapped only ensure a 99% of not missing.

December 23rd, 2010 very old thread..

I know there is still a 1% chance that enemy's resist your spells even when hitcapped. On some classes this seems slightly more (could be RNG too of course). For example: Warlocks they resist way too much..
